Faygate United won through to the final of the Crawley Charity Shield beating Merstham Newton 5–4 on penalties after the sides had finished extra time at 3–3. Their opponents will probably be Phoenix United who won 4–3 against Bewbush United, although the game was abandoned after 89 minutes.
In the league Chagos Island moved up a place to fourth thanks to a 3–2 home win over bottom side Maidenbower Village. Broadfield also move up a place to sixth and above Ifield Edwards II who they convincingly beat 5–1 at Ewhurst Place, with Andy Dhiman on target for Ifield.
In the Crawley Charity Shield Second Round Merstham Newton comfortably went through after beating Broadfield 5–1 at home. In the league only 2 games survived the weather and Furnace Green Galaxy opened up a five point lead over second placed Merstham Newton after winning 2–1 at Chagos Island, although Merstham do have four games in hand. The bottom two met at Langley Green and it was Real Hydraquip who came out on top as they recorded only their second league win 2–1 over Maidenbower Village.
Furnace Green Galaxy won through to the Third Round of the Mid Sussex Senior Cup with a 2–0 home win over current holders and Mid Sussex Premier league leaders Lindfield. The other two sides in the Mid Sussex Senior Cup went out as Broadfield were beaten 4–1 by Ifield Edwards, Clinton Moore opening the scoring for Ifield on 12 minutes, but Dave Pethers equalised six minutes later. Clive Piller restored Ifield’s lead in the 34th minute, Clinton Moore made it 3–1 two minutes later and Aaron Smith made it 4–1 at the break. Phoenix United also went out as they were beaten 4–2 by County Three side Forest who scored through Joe Holvey with two, Ross Swaine and Chris Copestake.
In the Crawley Charity Shield Faygate United won through to the Third Round, beating Division One side Sporting Crawley 1–0 after extra time.
In the league Chagos Island move up a place to fifth after beating second bottom Real Hydraquip 5–2 at home. The day’s other game between Maidenbower Village and Merstham Newton was postponed.
In the Crawley Senior Cup 2nd Round Chagos Island went through after beating Division One side Rowfant Village 3–2 away, while Furnace Green Galaxy came from two goals down at half time to win 4–2 at Ifield Edwards II. Thomas Erb and Iain McLean were on target for Ifield.
In the Crawley Charity Shield 2nd Round the all Premier tie between Real Hydraquip and Phoenix United went the way of Phoenix with a 4–2 away win.
The only scheduled Premier League game between Maidenbower Village and Faygate United was postponed.
Phoenix United produced the result of the day as they beat high riding County Three side Bexhill United 2-1 at home in the Second Round of the Sussex Intermediate Cup to earn a Third Round tie at Shoreham II. The other two Premier sides involved in the Cup did not fare so well as Furnace Green Galaxy went down 2-0 at Brighton Premier side AFC Stanley, while Broadfield were well beaten at County Reserve Premier side Wick II 7-0.
In the Surrey Intermediate Cup Merstham Newton lost their Third Round tie 2-1 at Caterham Old Boys.
In the league Real Hydraquip picked up their first league win after beating Ifield Edwards II 4-2 away. Ifield's goals were scored by Dan Bravery and Dan Dumper.
November 2009: In the Sussex Intermediate Cup Second Round Maidenbower Village went out after losing 3-0 at Mid Sussex Premier side East Grinstead United. In the Surrey Intermediate Cup First Round Merstham Newton were more successful as they went through after winning 2-1 at home to Mole Valley SCR.
In the league Furnace Green Galaxy went back to the top as they beat Ifield Edwards II 5-1 at home. Dave Smart with a hat trick, Andy Moore and Kevin Comper were on target for the home side, while Jamal Sultan curled in a free kick for Ifield. Faygate United consolidated their third placing with a 5-0 home win over Chagos Island, while Phoenix United's good run continues as they won 3-1 at Broadfield to remain in fourth place.

Peter Sweet with two, Kevin Comper, Dave Smart also with two and Gary Bidwell scoring for Galaxy. Faygate United climb two places to third after winning 8-3 at second bottom Real Hydraquip.

Broadfield beat County Reserve Premier side Lingfield II 2-1 at Langley Green, while Phoenix United also beat a County Reserve side, Ringmer II, 3-1 at home. In the Crawley Charity Shield First Round there was something of an upset for Ifield Edwards II as they went down 3-0 at home to Division One side Bewbush United. In the league FG Galaxy remain top after comfortably beating Real Hydraquip 5-2 at Ifield Green. Jack McNab scored twice and there were further goals from Gary Bidwell and Jamie Fiveash, who also gave away a penalty at the other end, and an own goal. Merstham Newton remain in second spot after they beat Faygate United 4-1 at home. Chagos Island move up to third as they won easily 5-0 at bottom side Maidenbower Village.
Sussex Intermediate Cup Broadfield won through to the Second Round after winning their all Crawley Premier League tie 3-1 at Real Hydraquip which earnt them a trip to Wick II. Phoenix United also won their tie at FC Sporting from the Worthing Premier League 6-3, and will be at home to County Division Three leaders Bexhill United in the next round.
In the Crawley Charity Shield First Round the all Crawley Premier tie saw Faygate United edge out Maidenbower Village, winning 3-2 at home.
In the league FG Galaxy went back to the top after beating Chagos Island 2-1 at home. Previous leaders Merstham Newton were held 2-2 at home by Ifield Edwards II, with Devon McKenzie and Ross Dance on target for the visitors.

Merstham Newton went back to the top as the two leading sides clashed. Merstham ran out 2-1 winners over Furnace Green Galaxy at home. Galaxy added to their own problems by missing two penalties and their lone scorer was Jack McNab, who also missed one of the spot kicks. Broadfield move above Ifield Edwards II into third place after beating them 7-1 at home. Chagos Island remain sixth after drawing 1-1 at home with Faygate United, while Maidenbower Village and Real Hydraquip picked up their first points after drawing 1-1 at Oriel High School.
Furnace Green Galaxy took over at the top as their 6-0 win at Ifield Edwards II put them above Merstham Newton, who won 5-1 at home to Real Hydraquip, on goal difference. Broadfield drop to third as they had no game. Faygate United are fourth thanks to their first win, 4-1 at home to bottom side Phoenix United.
The day's other game between Maidenbower Village and Chagos Island had to be abandoned after just 15 minutes due to a serious injury.
